Welcome to New Albany Middle School! We take pride in our diversity, our accomplishments, and our commitment to excellence in all that we do. We are committed to creating a school where there is a sense of belonging, a desire for community, and a place where we encourage one another to take risks, which is part of the learning process. New Albany Middle School is a building housing students grades 7 & 8.
We offer many electives in addition to our standard curriculum. Middle School also is an opportunity for students to begin taking a foreign language, French Mandarin and Spanish are offered. We are proud of the arts and offer opportunities in band, choir, orchestra and theatre and the visual arts.
One of the most exciting things about Middle School is the opportunity to participate in a variety of clubs and organizations. We understand that many of our children are involved in a variety of activities outside of school, but we firmly believe that our students benefit from the opportunities available on campus.
New Albany Middle School offers a variety of clubs and organizations which aid in the academic, moral, physical, and social growth of each student. These groups receive acceptance, cooperation, and support from students, faculty, administration, and parents. Clubs are formed of the students, by the students, and for the students, with the intention of enhancing our curriculum and strengthening the student experience.
